The Albaicin // Granada, Spain
During our trip to Andalusia, visiting Granada and it’s infamous Alhambra was high on our priority list. What we didn’t realize was that Granada was a jewel in itself. We stayed in the Albaicin known for it’s winding streets and medieval moorish architecture. Aside from delicious tapas, we loved the exotic Moroccan restaurants and other African influences. Strolling through the streets at dusk, the air smells of jasmine. With the Alhambra hovering above, it’s hard not to feel transported into another world.
Ensure during your visit that you stop at the Mirador de San Nicolas for stunning views of the Alhambra and city. It was absolutely stunning at dusk.
