Stretching our legs in Nyon, Switzerland

Stretching our legs in Nyon, Switzerland

On our way back from Annecy, France a few weekends ago we made a pit stop at the gorgeous little town of Nyon, quietly seated along stunning Lake Geneva. Quite frankly, our visit was absurdly brief. When choosing what to share and not sure on this space, my goal has always been to share a story or experience – maybe even transport you (and me!) away for a few minutes to someplace else. Our visit to Nyon lacks a story, instead we simply wanted a place to stretch our legs and let Stuart do his business. I usually wouldn’t share such a visit but, well, scenes from Nyon are too pretty to hide away. If anything, maybe these shots will do the same thing for you as it did for me – stem your curiosity in the monstrous beauty, Lake Geneva, the idyllic towns and villages that embrace it.

Across the lake from Nyon lie the unassuming French Alps. What a sight.

I can’t begin to articulate how much I love our little fluff ball. Although it’s not always convenient, it’s been incredible to travel around Europe with him. Wagging his tail rapidly as he swoops up french fries off the street in Amsterdam, trotting along on a run in Paris, he’s a simple guy and adds a dose of honesty to all these dreamy, beautiful, places we’ve been able to visit.
