I’ve been gorging in Italy.
What a week! As you may have noticed, it’s been quiet around gutenblog y’all this week while I’ve been away in Italy on a work trip. LUCKY duck me, I had one of the BEST meals of my life in Sorrento – fresh buffalo mozzarella, homemade gnocchi, and sesame encrusted tuna with pistachio sauce. I gorged, in the way a bride-to-be should not, but I didn’t care. It was silly-delicous and I had to eat it ALL. Aside from this feast, I wanted share a few other peaks of the week, as part of Daily Dairies as Diaries of an Essex Girl. As reported by The Huffington Post, happy people are mindful of the good, which is exactly what peaks of the week is about. I recommend you take some time to do the same!
1. On Sunday we cruised down the Almalfi Coast to enjoy lunch in beautiful Positano. I snapped the shot above on our way back. A RAINBOW plus views of the Almalfi is pretty unreal. More Positano pictures to come!
2. Today. Today was a picture-perfect day in Heidelberg. Dan and I brunched al fresco, played volleyball on the Neckarweisen (green space along the Neckar river), and biked to over to our favorite falafel restaurant for dinner. I can’t help but sit here with a silly grin because it was just one of those wonderful Spring weekends.
3. Ding, ding, ding! Visitors are coming! Next weekend we’ve got some Stateside visitors heading our way. Dan and I can’t wait to show off our pretty little hometown. So much to look forward to! 🙂
