Photo Diary: Fall in Freiburg, Germany // Instagram Reader Submission Project
Upon arrival we immediately fell in love with Freiburg. A small university city in southern Germany, it’s vibrant, full of quintessential German architecture and even has small canals flowing through the streets (yes, canals). We stayed for the weekend and divided our time between hiking in the Black Forest just outside the city and wandering the cobbled streets. It was our one and only time camping in Europe and turned out to be incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Hirzberg Camping is just outside the old town, so close you can walk straight into town in about 10 minutes, I’d highly recommend it. To seal the deal, Freiburg is considered the warmest place in Germany leading Dan and I repeatedly agree that we could live here happily. Do you think you could too?
This week we’re at it again! It’s the third installment of the Instagram Reader Submission Project. Here’s the jest: I follow hundreds of Instagram accounts and would love to feature all of them here but instead of doing a ‘Top 10 IG Accounts You Should be Following’ post (because there’s a chance I might not be following you! eeck!) next week I plan to share 10 Instagram images from a MARKET.
A detail shot of a bright basket of oranges, a sweeping street scene of vendors, or even a market purchase that’s now part of your daily life – run with this prompt however you’d like!
If you’ve got a snap that you love, email me at margo [at] theoverseasescape [dot] com with the URL of the instagram image (found by going to instagram.com on your desktop) along with your name and blog address. I’ll share my 10 favorites right here along with your handle and blog link. I have no rules about when the picture was originally posted so feel free to go back into your archives!
The post will go live November 23, 2015 so please submit your image asap!
