Canal Cruise // Bruges, Belgium
Let’s talk about Bruges. Bruges, Belgium, known as the Venice of Northern Europe, this place wraps up the best of European charm with the peace of calm waterways and cozy restaurants. My favorite experience in Bruges, bar none, was our cruise through Bruges’ endless canal system. After a few beers (hey, it’s Belgium after all) we headed to the boat pickup near the main square. Our captain provided a colorful narrative as we wound our way through the city. I’ll leave it to wikipedia to provide the full history and let my pictures speak for themselves.
